In response to the total lack of response from fans (are there any left in
Melbourne?) SciNut has slashed the prices of tickets to the September 17 &
18 Star Trek convention.

Unallocated seating tickets (row 5 and back) are now $10 concession and $15
other, per day. Yes, $10 & $15!!

These tickets can only be bought at the door.

If you would prefer to prebook and/or pre-purchase your autographs (and get
seating in rows 1-3) then bookings are still available via the website.

No wonder.

Startrek is dead.

and fans have been recently ripped of by convention organisers.

You would be better off saving your money and heading to the USA and
attending one of the weird conventions there.

Dear ?Andypandy, I get the feeling that you were "ripped off" by the
Adelaide guy.

For this I am very sorry, however conventions are run all over Australia and
2 bad apples in the 8 years I have been attending conventions, so 2 out of
282 conventions (based on Australia's average of 17 per year) is very minor.

It means less than 1% of all conventions run and organised in Australia are
cancelled with the ticket holders receiving no refund.

I am sorry you had a bad experience but I would greatly appreciate it if you
didn't allow your negative experience to bias others

yours sincerely,
Onelia Herriot

PS: If you had paid by credit card you wouldn't be out of pocket now, but
have a refund from your bank for services not rendered!

Because science fiction fans tend to be fans of more than one show and lurk
in all sorts of places.

IF i am interested in star trek, then i'm also subscribed in some trek news
groups. you don't need to inform me twice.

IF i am not interested in star trek, you're spamming.

please don't do this.
